K3ROO Back on the Air after 38 years

My modest but fun shack. FT-840 with Timewave DSP-9. MFJ-949E antenna tuner. G5RV antenna. N3FJP logging program. Work almost 100% CW, mostly 40 & 30 m. Use old Vibroplex bug. Also use straight key and occasionally Bencher paddle with MFJ keyer. See you on the HF CW bands. 73, --George

Is there a modern solid-state equivalent, either kit, homebrew, or wired, for the traditional 6L6 xtal rig?

When I get into trouble with my Wife, she sends me to the "Dog House". That's why I named my shack this. Loads of fun. 73
