A ‘BENCHER’ modulates the KT-34XA via the ICOM-737, usually QRP without any help. Strange antenna experiments occasionally require help from the ATR-30. Strange QRM occasionally requires the assistance of the AL-1500. The only TEN-TEC equipment that still works is the power supply…but most of you already know that.

Cable connections and Antenna parts being off I know can create an erratic SWR with Trap Vertical and other Antennas. What might be any possible other causes? Weather?

Here's my current hamshack setup. Main gear is ICOM IC-7800 with the Heil Goldline Pro mic, W2IHY 8 band audio equalizer. My other rig is a Yaesu FT1000MP. The ICOM 7800 is great on SSB,PSK-31 and digital modes. I run a pair of Yaesu FT847's on 6 meters and 146.52 FM. Mics are the Yaesu MD200. Antennas are Force 12 C3SS tri-bander on a tower at 48 ft, Sigma 5 vertical and a G5RV for 10-80 meters.
