Spotlight	K4NR- My Little Corner to the World

Just finished building a small shack in the attic of my house. I live in a deed-restricted area so I'm running a homebrew flagpole vertical using an Icom AH-4 autotuner and an 80 foot longwire strung along the top of the fence also tuned with the AH-4. I'm active on 40 and 30 meter CW or other digital modes. I also have M2 Eggbeaters for 144 / 440. I'm active on FO-29 running CW and on AO-51 running FM. Equipment in the shack includes an Icom 746 for HF / 6 Meters and an Icom 910H for 144 / 440.

DXCC Status
A contributor states, "Currently there are only two countries that do not issue Amateur Radio licenses to their citizens, Yemen and North Korea. Thousand of deserving Ham's worldwide who enjoy working DX are shut out of any hope of obtaining the #1 Top of the Honor Roll status due to this. It would seem rational that these two countries (and any others who take a similar position) should be deleted from the official DXCC list in view of this. Why recognize a country on the DXCC list that does not recognize Amateur Radio? What say you?"
