Greetings from Frederick's Hamfest (June 17, 2007).
Here is Lidia, me, and the crystals Elvin & Camilo. They'll hopefully be part of the future of Amateur Radio.

Here is my shack set up for deploying to Afghanistan last year. I'm an Infantryman with the Army's 82d Airborne Division. FT-1000MP Mk V, Heath SB-1000, Dentron tuner, etc. Unfortunately was not able to get an Afghan ticket while I was there. The lab holds a pair of Tek 4-channel scopes (2246 and 2465's), a Wavetek 164 30 MHz Sweep Generator, and a bunch of HP gear - 8640B Sig Gen; 8405A Vector Voltmeter (measures phase); 339A Audio Distortion Meter; 3468B VOM; 6255 Power supply (also have a 6253 under the bench); 5328A 500 MHz Freq. counter, with another under the bench I'm hooking up to be disciplined by a GPS clock; a borrowed (Thanks Kelly, N4EWG) Anritsu 2 GHz Spectrum Analyzer; a Tek 1220 Logic Analyzer for my PIC programming pleasure; AADE LC II Inductance/Capacitance meter; ESR Cap. meter, WES-51 soldering station; Power Meter from Kanga; a still-in-progress 2-tone generator from the Handbook; and a bunch of little bits and projects that hang around a workbench. Lots of fun here!
