Need to replace my aging Dell 4100 desktop with laptop (prefer Dell) to use with KA4AQM operation. Need to know what others are usng and what to STAY AWAY FROM.When operating, I split screen with Eham.net and QRZ.com. What DELL laptops are you guys using that works?

This is my entry level HF station and first time setting up shack in America. I am a foreign student and ham from Thailand (HS, E2) I brought SWR meter, morse key and a couple of morse code practice cassettes with me after I came back from home visit last summer. Hope to be a good start even I have never operated the radio since it was purchased in April!!!
